Miriam
Approved Provider | Centre Manager
Miriam is the owner and Centre Manager of Kinder Kare, and the driving force behind the service's warm, family-centred culture. With a genuine passion for early childhood education, she leads the centre with a clear vision: a place where children, families, and educators feel truly supported, valued, and part of something special. For Miriam, Kinder Kare is more than a childcare service — it's a home away from home.
Under her leadership, Kinder Kare has achieved a Meeting National Quality Standard rating, with Quality Area 6 — Collaborative Partnerships with Families and Communities — recognised as Exceeding National Quality Standard. This reflects the meaningful relationships Miriam has built with families and the local community, as well as the service's excellent compliance record and commitment to continuous improvement.
Miriam believes every child is a unique and capable learner who deserves a nurturing, inclusive space to flourish. She is a strong advocate for play-based learning and family partnerships, and her dedication to open communication and trust runs through every aspect of life at Kinder Kare — creating a community where children grow, families feel at home, and educators are empowered to do their very best work.
Laila
Nominated Supervisor | Early Childhood Teacher
Laila has been a proud member of the Kinder Kare family since February 2020 and brings over 12 years of experience in early childhood education and care. Her journey at Kinder Kare reflects her dedication to growth — from Before and After School Care Coordinator to Room Leader, and now Nominated Supervisor, following the completion of her Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Teaching.
In her role as Nominated Supervisor, Laila oversees the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework while championing a culture of continuous improvement and educational excellence. She is a passionate advocate for a child-first approach, ensuring the rights, wellbeing, and best interests of every child remain at the centre of all decisions across the service.
Laila's vision is a Kinder Kare where children's voices are genuinely heard and where strong, trusting partnerships with families underpin everything they do. As a leader, she is committed to mentoring her team and fostering an environment where every child develops a real sense of belonging, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Nathalie brings 17 years of early childhood education experience to Kinder Kare, where she has been a valued team member since 2023. As Early Childhood Teacher, Educational Leader, and Room Leader of the 3–5 year-old Rainbow Room, she plays a central role in shaping the quality and direction of learning experiences across the entire service.
Nathalie is passionate about play-based learning and believes children flourish when they're free to explore, discover, and follow their own curiosity. She leads Kinder Kare's Bush Kinder and School Readiness programs, thoughtfully designing experiences that build children's resilience, problem-solving skills, and connection to the natural world — while equipping them with the social, emotional, and practical skills to step into primary school with confidence.
As Educational Leader, Nathalie works closely with the team to inspire reflective practice and maintain excellent educational outcomes for all children. Her extensive experience, inclusive approach, and genuine love of teaching make her an invaluable part of the Kinder Kare community.
Casey
Responsible Person | Community Programs Coordinator | Room Leader (3–5)
Casey is one of Kinder Kare's most experienced and much-loved team members, with over 13 years at the service — her entire early childhood career having started right here. Beginning as a trainee, Casey earned her Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and progressed through a range of Room Leader roles before stepping into her current position as Room Leader of the 3–5 year-old Rainbow Room and Responsible Person.
Casey is passionate about creating calm, nurturing environments where children feel safe and empowered to learn through play and hands-on exploration. She believes every child is capable and curious, and brings warmth, experience, and genuine care to building children's confidence, independence, and sense of belonging every single day.
A strong advocate for community connection, Casey coordinates Kinder Kare's much-loved Koala Adventure Program and Intergenerational Program, bringing children together with residents from a local nursing home to build empathy, social responsibility, and meaningful bonds beyond the classroom. Her deep ties to the local community and dedication to genuine family partnerships make Casey a true cornerstone of Kinder Kare.
Maria
Responsible Person | Room Leader (0–2)
Maria brings 7 years of early childhood experience to her role as Room Leader of Kinder Kare's 0–2 year-old Sunflower Room. Since joining the team, she has become a trusted and calming presence for the youngest children in the service and their families.
Maria understands just how significant these early months and years are, and approaches her role with warmth, intentionality, and deep respect for each child's individual pace. She builds strong, trusting relationships with infants and toddlers that help them feel secure enough to explore, play, and grow — planning responsive, play-based experiences that nurture curiosity, confidence, and a strong sense of belonging right from the start.
Family partnership is central to how Maria works. She believes close communication and genuine collaboration with parents are essential to creating consistency between home and the centre — ensuring every little one in her care has the nurturing, connected support they need to truly thrive.
Daniella
Room Leader (2–3)
Daniella joined the Kinder Kare team in February 2024, beginning her very first steps in early childhood education and care as a trainee. Through her enthusiasm, positivity, and commitment to professional growth, she has progressed to become Room Leader of the 2–3 year-old Toddler Room — all while continuing to work towards her Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
Daniella is passionate about supporting each child's unique learning journey. She creates safe, inclusive environments where toddlers feel valued and confident, drawing on thoughtful observation and intentional teaching to plan experiences that reflect children's individual interests, strengths, and developmental needs. She has a particular gift for supporting children's emotional wellbeing, helping them build independence and a strong sense of belonging as they navigate this exciting stage of growth.
Daniella values building genuine, trusting relationships with families through open communication and collaboration — recognising the vital role these partnerships play in supporting positive outcomes for children. Her reflective approach means she is always growing as an educator, and her warmth, dedication, and love for what she does have already made her a much-loved part of the Kinder Kare community.
Charli
Before & After School Care Coordinator | Vacation Care Coordinator
Charli joined the Kinder Kare team a year ago and has quickly established herself as a valued leader within the school-aged program. Holding her Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care since 2023, she brings a broad range of experience working with children — including nannying for families across the world, particularly in London, where she developed a deep appreciation for supporting children from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
As Before and After School Care and Vacation Care Coordinator, Charli plans and leads engaging programs that support children's interests, independence, and wellbeing. She creates a welcoming, inclusive environment where school-aged children feel safe, respected, and empowered to explore their strengths — and as a Responsible Person, she also plays an important role in the day-to-day running of the service, overseeing centre openings and closings and supporting the leadership team.
Building genuine, trusting relationships with children and families is at the heart of Charli's practice. She is passionate about child-led learning and believes every child thrives when given real opportunities to make choices and take ownership of their growth. Her warmth, global experience, and commitment to high-quality care have made her a trusted and familiar presence within the Kinder Kare community.
The 3-Day Care Guarantee Means More Support For Families
From 5 January, 2026:
- All families will get 3 days' subsidised care each week for each child regardless of activity levels or hours.
- Families caring for First Nations children will get 100 hours of subsidised care each fortnight for each child.
